Making evidence-based insomnia care easier to access.

We are researching how clinician-led CBT-I can become easier for patients to find, afford, and access through telehealth and insurance.

Insomnia is treatable. Access remains difficult.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is the evidence-based, first-line treatment for chronic insomnia — recommended over sleep medication by leading clinical guidelines. Yet for most patients, getting that care is far from straightforward.

Many patients struggle to:

  • Understand what type of care they actually need

  • Find clinicians with meaningful CBT-I training and experience

  • Determine whether providers accept their insurance

  • Find providers licensed in their state

  • Access care without long delays or waitlists

  • Distinguish clinical treatment from general sleep advice

Nocta Health is exploring ways to improve access to CBT-I while supporting clinicians with the operational infrastructure needed to deliver care effectively. We are not currently providing treatment.
